Ohio-based writer Annie Zaleski’s bylines run the gamut of creme de le creme journalistic outlets: Rolling Stone, NPR Music, The Guardian, Time, Billboard, The Los Angeles Times and plenty more.
She’s also the author of multiple books: Duran Duran ‘Rio’ 33 1/3, Lady Gaga: Applause and the soon-to-be-released Taylor Swift: The Stories Behind the Songs. (You can learn all about these various articles and projects on Annie’s website.)
She is also, fortunately for me, a friend and a fellow Joni Mitchell fan. (Plus, it must be noted, the wife of my Ultimate Classic Rock colleague Matt Wardlaw — talk about a power couple.)
Here’s Annie and I’s conversation about her writing on Joni, how she’s been covered in the media and more.
Thanks for listening x
Allison
